Samsung Galaxy S4 is a new smartphone and have an up-to-date Android 4.2.2 system. Although it is new on the market, it has been rumored to have new Android 4.3 Jelly Bean upgrade. Samsung Galaxy S4 Android 4.3 firmware update is available now with ported Google Play Edition. We will also provide you the download links for available ROMs in this post.

Before Android 4.3 Firmware Upgrade

Before you start, please beware of the points that; you will break your warranty and do the process on your own risk. You can not flash this ROM using Odin. If you did not flash a custom ROM before and do not have any idea about that, then do not start this upgrade process and forget Galaxy S4 Android 4.3 upgrade in this way. :)

Galaxy S4 Upgrade Process

  • Copy Android 4.3 Google Play Edition Custom ROM to your internal SD Card.
  • Open your phone in Recovery Mode (Power Button + Volume Up Button + Home Button)
  • Wipe / Factory Reset your phone before flashing.
  • Flash the Google Play Editon Custom ROM from your internal SD Card.
  • Finally restart your device.

Android 4.3 is still in development phase and does not have all the features yet. You can install Galaxy S4 Android 4.3 version ROM and try the existing features.
